The Regional Transportation Training Center in Waterloo, Iowa, just south of the main campus, offers a variety of short-term training and continuing education driving courses to help you build skills and advance your career.

The driving range features an open driving area, 26-foot wide road, inclines, and left and right turns.

The center's building houses classrooms, drive through truck bays, and has space for four virtual driving simulators.

Â鶹Íø is accredited by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and all of our driving courses follow the Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT) requirements.

Driver training is currently offered as continuing education driving courses, and short-term training.

Approved Entry-Level Driver Training Provider

Â鶹Íø’s Regional Transportation Training Center is an approved Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT) provider, registered with the Department of Transportation’s Training Provider Registry.

Before you can register for a training program, you’ll need to:

• Have your Commercial Learner’s Permit (CLP)
• Complete your Clearinghouse registration
• Have a valid DOT medical card and certification
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen (negative result required)
