Confidential Complaint Reporting

To report a confidential complaint to the College, you may use any of the following options to provide as much detail as possible about your complaint:

• Call 319-296-4057 and record your message. Caller ID has been blocked to incoming messages to this phone number.
• Email your complaint to AnonymousComplaint@hawkeyecollege.edu. The complainant is encouraged to use an email address without an embedded personal name.
• Use the message box below to submit your complaint.

Our Commitment to Handling Complaints with Care and Confidentiality

Â鶹Íø follows up on all complaints. If, through investigation, the identity or probable identity of the complainant becomes known, the College will:

• Work to safeguard the personally identifiable information and privacy of those who seek help or who report a complaint to the extent allowed by law.

• Not tolerate any action against an individual for filing a complaint, seeking guidance, making a report, supporting a complainant, or assisting in providing information relevant to a report or complaint.

• Weigh the interests of the complainant against its obligation to provide a safe, non-discriminatory environment for all students and employees, including the complainant.

An anonymous complainant must understand that the College’s ability to fully investigate and pursue corrective action and/or disciplinary measures may be limited.
