Annual Juried Show on Display in Â鶹Íø Library on Main Campus

The annual Â鶹Íø Student Art Show will open with a reception and awards presentation on Thursday, April 10, 6–8 PM in the Â鶹Íø Library on Main Campus.

The show includes works by students in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, and Professional Photography.

Juror for the show is retired Â鶹Íø instructor Kim Behm. Behm received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Printmaking in 1973, and a Master of Fine Arts in Painting and Art History in 1976 from University of New Mexico–Albuquerque. Behm has more than 40 years of experience as a working artist. His various roles include illustrator, designer, art director, animator, teacher and exhibitor. He holds awards in various fields. Behm retired as Professor Emeritus from Â鶹Íø in 2023.

The awards portion of the opening reception will begin at 7 PM with remarks from Behm, followed by the presentation of awards. Light refreshments will be served. This event is free and open to the public.

After the reception, the Â鶹Íø Student Art Show will be open through May 6 during regular Library hours.
