At Âé¶¹Íø, we provide a variety of resources to help you succeed both inside and outside the classroom. Whether you need textbooks and supplies from the bookstore, academic support from the library, or health services from our on-campus clinic, we’ve got you covered. Take advantage of our food pantry, student handbook, and computers to stay on track, or relax at the RedTail Café between classes. If you’re a student parent, our daycare and housing options provide additional support to make your college experience more manageable. Transportation Options

No car? No problem—Âé¶¹Íø has you covered with free and affordable transportation options. You can ride the Âé¶¹Íø Shuttle for free if you're a current student, faculty, or staff member, making it simple to travel between campus locations. Âé¶¹Íø is also served by the MET Transit Bus Service, giving you another convenient and affordable way to get to and from campus. Together, these options help you stay connected without the stress of driving.

Cost

  • $0.75 one-way (with valid student ID)
  • $1.50 one-way without valid student ID
  • $50 30-day pass for unlimited rides on fixed-route services for 30 days from the first use. Passes can be purchased from the drivers or at the Met Transit Office.

Riders must have exact change or 30-day pass ready when boarding.

Âé¶¹Íø makes it easy to get around with a free shuttle for current students, faculty, and staff. The shuttle runs between Main Campus, Âé¶¹Íø Towers apartments, the Van G. Miller Adult Learning Center, the Crossroads shopping area—so you can travel where you need without the hassle.

The AmeriCorps Driver transportation service is available to current Âé¶¹Íø students. It runs from the front entrance of the Âé¶¹Íø Center and can help you get to places like health appointments, local shopping, and the Waterloo and Cedar Rapids airport.
